I mean, I guess it's a good thing that Tumblr is finally at least bothering to notify users when a post has been flagged. It's only a few weeks late, but whatever.

B. You're getting notifications? I have a ton of flagged posts (>half of which aren't porny, but whatever) and have not gotten a single notification. I feel so left out.

Yesterday there was a big blue banner at the top of my Tumblr telling me I had flagged content. It's gone now, although if I click on "Account" and then look towards the bottom of the drop down I have the option to "Review flagged posts." So maybe try that?

They were pretty fast about restoring my post once I'd appealed it. I got an email from Tumblr Trust and Safety (really?) thanking me and assuring me that I can "know that you’re helping to make these kinds of mistakes happen less often." So I guess we're training the algorithm for them and actively participating in our own censorship, which is... less than ideal.

Ugh, Tumblr. I'm slowly extricating myself.
